Back in monster hunter freedom unite there was one weapon I was just so drawn to, the damage was exceedingly high and the weapon was so nuanced for a young hunter as I was at the time.
I miss opening up my box and seeing a hunting horn with purple sharpness and 1508 attack, that is absolute insanity. If I recall correctly the sharpness modifier for purple is 1.48 so 1508×1.48=2231.48 damage before doing any motion value calculations -
Yeah unfortunately the horn mechanics in mhfu is not very good compared to now, you have to enter the song mode and play in real time.

P.s I wrote the wrong sharpness modifier depending on where you look it's 1.5 or 1.44 so if it's 1.5 the damage is 2262 raw before motion values take it down. Regardless the difference between green and purple sharpness is a extra half hit of damage per hit-Vik
